Kelsie Rudolph is a ceramic furniture designer and maker based out of Helena, Montana. With an extensive background in art, her practice has always been focused on utilitarian objects. From an intense dedication to pottery and vessel forms, her curiosity in building led to large scale ceramic furniture. An interest in the intersections between art and design are exhibited through each individually unique piece. She is thoughtful of the full body interaction that occurs with the work and focuses largely on durability, ergonomics, and scale. Her commitment to clay has contributed significantly to contemporary art and design communities, adding to the language and understanding of large scale utilitarian ceramic objects.
